A simple effect, with an equally simple method...but is quite perplexing to the spectators. A clear box is encircled with a rubber band to keep the lid firmly on. A small ball is held on your hand, and when the box is brought together with the ball, the ball visibly penetrates into the box. The box can then be handed to the specatator to examine. Another effect is to trap the ball in the box, and place the box under a handkerchief that is spread on the table. When the handkercheif is lifted, the ball has vanished. (That last effect is not in the instructions, but you will understand how to do it, once you know the secret of the Bandit Box.)
