For some reason, I am not a fan of the Zig Zag Card effect (except for Tenyo’s SideTrack and Trick’s Co Open Zig-Zag card). 

Of course, what do I know, since a huge number of magicians get great reactions performing the Zig zag card.  It is very popular, so I must not know everything!

  Well, here is a version of the Zig Zag card built to use a music CD or DVD.  Joker Magic has manufactured a nice item, works beautifully, and your audience will swear the CD is always visible, never out of their sight.  (They have to swear to this, because it’s true.)  You pop the CD/DVD into the holder, and immediately slide the middle out, showing it in three pieces.  CD/DVD could even be borrowed, and signed if you want.  (That isn’t in the instructions, but you will see how to have the disc signed when you know the secret.)

I’m gonna stop describing this, because I am talking myself into keeping it!  It’s from Joker Magic, circa 2000, and in like new condition.   It originally sold for about $40-$50, but is difficult to find now.
