ONE in TEN -- never fail prediction, easy and effective

I learned this one years and years ago with playing cards, but the addition of a couple more subtle elements (made possible by using number cards rather than playing cards), the effect is sooooo much cleaner, and much more effective.

The mentalist lays out ten cards in a line, every other card is faceup and facedown, and the face up cards show that each card has a differently colored number on it.   The spectator chooses ANY number between one and ten, and this freely chosen number designates the selected card.  A prediction has been in view the whole time, and it is is read aloud:  "You will selected the only RED card".  The selected card is indeed the only red card.

Unlike previous versions of this trick, which required the suspicious action of spelling the number to select a card -- I mean, why would anyone SPELL five to choose a card?  They would just count five, right? -- this version does not have any hokey spelling involved at any time.   The ways that the chosen card is determined are all very natural and logical.

You may see this trick for sale elsewhere online for a buck less than what TMGS charges -- this is because the cards (as they come from the manufacturer) are not easy to use -- they don't spread at all.  This makes a great trick...well, not so great.    But at TMGS, we have fixed this, by treating the cards with fanning powder, so you will have no problem using them as soon as you get them.  (Maybe other dealers will sell you a trick that you cannot actually work, but at TMGS, we don't think that is very nice!)
