The pay-off for this gag is BULLSH*T, so if four letter words are not your style, you'll want to find a different opening gag for your shows.  But audiences come in all shapes and tatses, and for the rowdier, looser crowds, Jeff Stewart's BS Board is the perfect way to say "I'm here for fun, and I don't take myself too seriously."

I usually do one trick first, somethign fast and impressive, and then follow immediately with the BS Board.  I show it as my "mission statement" as a performer.   As I read it aloud, keeping a serious and solemn tone, the audience begins to think "Oh buh-rother...  this guy is pretty flaky."    But just when they are about to tune me out for being to pretentious, I fold the board in two, revealing only the first letters of each line, which (when read from top to bottom) spell out BULLSH*T.    Instantly the audience gets it, and knows that they are in for both mystery and fun, without any high-brow pretentions.

Obviously not for kidshows, and maybe not for many adult shows, but for the right audience, you will find this a lot of fun to perform.   Board fits in your jacket pocket when folded, and opens out to about 8 x10 inches.
