The gimmicked bulldog clip that does most of the work here can be used for numerous other mental effects, if you just use your imagination a bit. But the one that comes with it is strong enough to use a lot, even if you don't want to play with the possibilities of other effects.
Five JUMBO playing cards are shown faceup, along with a bulldog clip that holds a single piece of folded paper. The spectator selected any card (no force) and you set it aside from the others, emphasizing that any one of the cards could have been selected. The piece of paper is removed from the clip and cleanly handed to the spectator. Your hands are completely empty – no switched out paper palmed, or anything else like that! But the spectator opens the paper and finds it matches the chosen card. Works every time!
The gimmicked clip (which I think is a Bob Nelson invention) does much of the work for you, and can be used for other prediction effects. If I recall correctly, there was a version of this published in Syzygy using five different travel brochures, where you predict the dream vacation chosen by the spectator. You could adapt it to pictures of movie stars, having the spectator pick her dream date, and you correctly predict it. Only the card effect is explained in the instructions, but once you have the props in hand, you will see how you could adapt this to many other prediction effects.
Well made, from Italy, brand new with instructions
