The magic number always seems to be three.  Things happen in three's.  And so it is with great mentalism predictions.  Most all the classic routines feature three different predictions, each building on the other.

Hen Fetsch's Mental Epic comes to mind, of course.   Like Mental Epic, this is a "Blackboard" prediction effect, but unlike Mental Epic, it allows for the choice of all three "thoughts" to be completely free, and the prediction for all the thoughts is done and covered before ANY of the spectators' freely chosen thoughts are revealed.

And if the need for a shorter, single thought prediction is better for your routine, you can use this device to predict just ONE thought, or two, or four, or... whatever will fit on the writing sections of the blackboard.   (For visibility purposes, I would not do more than three.)

EFFECT:   a large (12 inch by 18 inch) wood framed blackboard is shown.  The top half of the frame is covered with a cloth or paper, and the bottom half shows an empty blackboard.  Three spectators are asked to think of a Color, a number, and an animal.  (Or any thought category that you direct -- there is no limitation).   As each names his/her thought, it is written on the blackboard.   When the cloth above is dropped down it reveals another blackboard with the same three thoughts written upon it.

If you look at the picture closely, you may get some sense of how this thing works.  What I recommend is that you use a flexible cloth to cover the top section, attached to the board in the middle (either with small tacks or velcro), and then held up to cover your predictions with two pieces of velcro tape.  Now when you reveal the three predictions, you undo the upper velcro and let the cloth flap down, covering the bottom blackboard.   If you handle the effect this way, it is very effective, and there is no chance for the spectators to directly compare your written prediction to the written thoughts.

(To do this, you will need to get the appropriate opaque cloth and velcro tapes.  These things are not included.)

This item typically sells for $140-$170, plus shipping.   But I have one here with a couple of minor scratches on it, so you can get it at an amazing price.    You can see the scratches in the closeup photo.  Your spectators will never notice them, or you can take a scratch conceal pencil to them.

Comes with a nice supply of chalk  -- different colors, etc -- some of the pieces are broken, but all are still useable. (see photo).

Other than these imperfections, which occurred at the manufacturer or during shipping, this item is NEW and unused.  Complete with instructions.

Shipping for this item (which weighs about 6 pounds when packed for safe shipment) will be about $13-$16 for west coast addresses, and $27-$30 for east coast.   But we have priced it so that you still get a great deal, even after USPS takes its bite!

PLEASE READ TWO IMPORTANT NOTES BELOW.

NOTE #1:   Sorry, but 4 pounds is max I can ship internationally and this item is heavier than that, so bidders with USA addresses only.   Thanks

NOTE #2:   this item is over 6 pounds when securely packed.   Sorry, but it is still a great buy from TMGS, even after the US postal service gets its cut from us!  Depending on your zip code, the website may calculate shipping that is too high.    If you want to check exact postage to your zip code, email us.
