My wife shops a lot, so I had to show her this routine.  And she liked it.  (And she has seen so much magic that she is one tough audience, let me tell you!)   But she thought the shopping motif, with the store credit cards and credit limits, etc was fun.   Maybe I am being sexist, but I generally think women are more into shopping than men, and so I think this is a great close-up effect for women (though men will be fooled by it also)

Magi-mentalist shows a vinyl wallet and removes four credit cards from the wallet.   One each from Saks, Macys, Tiffany's and Bloomingdales.  He also removes a single card that shows 12 different dollar amounts.  If the spectator can guess her imaginary credit limit with these four stores, she wins an imaginary shopping spree!   She picks any one of the dollar amounts.  (no force).  The magician now shows the back of the four credit cards, and each one has a dollar amount on it (you can see one of them in the photo).  the four amounts are added up and they exactly equal the amount she chose!   Now that's a good effect, but to close it, she also picks her favorite store of the four cards (again, no force). The magi shows he predicted this choice in advance.

Props are nicely made.  My only complaint is that the laminated cards are hard to work with -- they tend to stick together as you count them, etc.  But I will treat them with fanning powder (like I did to my personal set) and that makes 'em handle like a dream!

A great piece of close up mental magic.   Also known as How Much, by Jon Allen, but I liked the name Shopping Spree Prediction better  :-)

Brand new and unused (but cards will be treated with fanning powder necessary for smooth execution of the routine).  With complete instructions
