This is a recent re-make of the very rare Tenyo trick, Mystery of the High Hat. This version is NOT Tenyo, of course, but it is a very well made, and looks & performs as well as the original.
So if you came to this listing looking for an original Tenyo version of the trick, my apologies. But you did find a great alternative at about one-tenth the price of the rare Tenyo version.
The effect: you show a small plastic top hat and wand. Lifting the hat, you reveal eight half dollar sized chips. Four are white and four are red. The chips are grouped by color, and stacked again inside the hat. The Hat is placed down on the table, and after a magic word or two, you use the tiny wand to push the hat across your close-up mat. As the each chip emerges from under the hat, they line up on the mat, and they now alternate in color. The chips are collected up, placed into the hat one at a time in alternating colors. But the next time the hat is slid across the table, the chips have separated instantly.
This version includes excellent props, though it did not include a mini wand (which was used in the original Tenyo routine). So I will include a neat little wand also -- that way you can follow the original handling.
The instructions that came with this trick were not very good -- very bare bones. So I will also include a better set of instructions for the buyer.
